About VeteranOpportunity.com
VeteranOpportunity.com helps veterans, transitioning service members, and military families explore business ownership with confidence.
Whether you’re considering a franchise, buying an existing business, starting a company from the ground up, or simply researching your options, our mission is to provide trusted information, practical guidance, and access to quality business opportunities.
Our franchise directory features veteran-friendly franchise brands across every major industry, offering support for the military community through veteran incentives, VetFran participation, and dedicated transition programs. Beyond franchising, we publish expert insights, educational articles, and industry analysis designed to help veterans make informed business decisions at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
We believe the leadership, discipline, adaptability, and mission-focused mindset developed through military service are qualities that make veterans exceptional business owners — and we’re committed to helping them succeed.
Built to Serve — Our Commitment
Built to Serve is not a program or a separate initiative. It’s a formalized commitment that is part of how VeteranOpportunity.com operates.
A percentage of revenue generated through VeteranOpportunity.com — including advertising, sponsorships, and partner campaigns — is donated to organizations that support veterans, with a special focus on preventing veteran suicide and strengthening the veteran community.
For franchise brands advertising on the platform: your campaign contributes directly to veteran support. No separate action required. It’s built into how we do business.
We believe helping veterans build businesses creates opportunity. Helping save veteran lives creates impact. Built to Serve ensures we do both.

Our Mission
Military service teaches leadership, discipline, and resilience. Business ownership demands those same qualities.
Our mission is to equip veterans with trusted information, meaningful opportunities, and practical guidance so they can confidently choose — and succeed in — the path that’s right for them.
Your Mission. Your Future.
