May is Military Appreciation Month.
Two words get said a lot this time of year. Thank you for your service.
They’re true. They’re not enough. But they’re a start.
To every man and woman who raised their right hand and swore an oath to defend this country — thank you. To those still serving today, in every branch, in every corner of the world — thank you. To the families who held things together at home while their loved ones were gone — thank you. To the ones who came home changed. To the ones who didn’t come home at all.
We remember. We’re grateful. And we don’t take it for granted.
Military service asks everything of the people who choose it. The sacrifices are real. The weight doesn’t go away when the uniform comes off. This month is a small, imperfect acknowledgment of a debt that can’t fully be repaid.
From everyone at VeteranOpportunity.com — thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. And thank you for continuing to lead, build, and serve your communities long after your time in uniform ends.
You set the standard. The rest of us are still catching up.
